FREE TRADE ZONE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW TEAM

The Free Trade Zone Manufacturers Association (FTZMA) elected a new set of office bearers for the year 2024/25 at its 43rd Annual General Meeting held at “Courtyard by Marriott Colombo” recently.

Tropical Findings Director Dhammika Fernando was re-elected as the Chairman for another term. Flintec Transducers Ltd. Managing Director Tyronne Weckasinghe was elected as the Honorary Secretary, Lalan Rubber Ltd. CEO Manjula Mahadanaarachchi as the Honorary Treasurer and ATG Ceylon Ltd. Managing Director Fazal Abdeen and Screenline Holdings Ltd. Managing Director Nishantha Bakmeege as Vice Chairmen. The rest of the Executive Committee was elected through a distinguished gathering of C-suite executives of all BOI member enterprises. Malaysia High Commissioner Badli Hisham Adam was the Chief Guest and BOI Director General Renuka Weerakoon was the Guest of Honour.
