Dilum Amunugama represents SL at Commonwealth Trade and Investment Forum in Dhaka

State Minister of Investment Promotion, Dilum Amunugama participated at the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Forum in Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

The two-day forum inaugurated by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday with the presence of prominent dignitaries aimed to provide a platform for high-level discussions on trade, investment, and economic policies that could benefit member countries.

Commonwealth Heads of Government and Ministers shared their insights, strategies and innovations that can bolster economic development and promote sustainable practices. The forum addressed crucial issues such as, trade facilitation, investment promotion, and leveraging technology for economic advancement.

Amunugama led the Sri Lankan delegation, reflecting the country's commitment to enhance its global economic ties and promote investment opportunities. 

His participation paves the way for constructive dialogues and collaboration with counterparts from other Commonwealth nations.

Amunugama also engaged in bilateral discussions with counterparts from Commonwealth member nations, exploring avenues for cooperation, and identifying areas of shared interest. These dialogues would strengthen economic ties and create a conducive environment for sustainable growth.
