The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo has announced its latest endeavour in promoting women’s empowerment with the launch of the “Entrepreneur of the Quarter” initiative at Tito’s Café. This campaign is set to run from the month of November highlighting and supporting the remarkable efforts of women entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
In line with its longstanding commitment to empowering women, Courtyard by Marriott Colombo is proud to partner with “Sweet Tooth Confessions”, an Instagram-based business specialising in exquisite decorative cakes for every occasion. Sweet Tooth Confessions, owned by the talented Tania Bernard, a devoted stay-at-home mom with a passion for cake making, epitomises the spirit of entrepreneurship and resilience.
Throughout this quarter, Sweet Tooth Confessions will dazzle patrons with a stunning display of five decorative cakes available for sale on pre-order, as well as a delectable ready-to-buy cake and dessert featured at Tito’s Café. Tania’s journey from a homemaker to a thriving entrepreneur is both inspiring and symbolic of the opportunities that the “Tito’s Entrepreneur of the Quarter” initiative aims to create.
As a proud member of the Marriott family, The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo remains committed to women’s empowerment. Marriott champions the cause of women through partnerships with non-profit organisations, supporting women-owned businesses, and fostering opportunities for female professionals within its workforce.
The “Tito’s Entrepreneur of the Quarter” initiative is not only a celebration of women entrepreneurs but also a testament to the unyielding support provided by The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo. By embracing the talents and dedication of women like Tania, the initiative showcases the potential of women-led businesses to thrive and make a significant impact in Sri Lanka’s entrepreneurial landscape.
