Concordia Estate achieves all-time record price

Concordia Estate, under the selling mark ‘Kenmare’, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 1,800 per kg for an OP grade in the Nuwara Eliya category at the weekly online tea auctions. 

This Estate is situated in Kandapola, Nuwara Eliya at an elevation of 1,932 metres above sea level. Concordia Estate carries out an Orthodox Leafy manufacture, which has a distinctive Nuwara Eliya character. This estate is Rainforest Alliance certified. 

Concordia Estate is managed by Udapussellawa Plantations PLC, an associate of Browns Power Holdings Ltd., under the stewardship of Senior Manager Lasantha Samarakoon.

This line of tea was sold and marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
