Colombo Land and Development Company PLC has appointed Dayani Kiriwattuduwa to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Kiriwattuduwa is a distinguished Attorney-at-Law with over 19 years of experience at the Bar, demonstrating a strong commitment to legal excellence and professional integrity. She holds a Master of Laws in Business Law (Merit) from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and earned her LL.B. with Second Class (Honours) from the University of Colombo in 2006.
She currently serves as the Director (Legal) of the Urban Development Authority, where she provides strategic legal leadership and oversight. In addition, Kiriwattuduwa holds several key positions in both the public and corporate sectors. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Waters Edge Limited and has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Urban Investment and Development Company Ltd. since 2022. She also contributes her expertise as a Legal Consultant to Lanka Rest Houses Ltd. Urban Investment and Development Company Ltd.
Kiriwattuduwa has developed particular expertise in laws relating to unauthorised constructions and regulatory compliance in Sri Lanka, and is well regarded for her in-depth knowledge and practical approach in handling such matters.
