A new contender has officially entered the event technology arena. Connect Ville, a bootstrapped Sri Lankan start-up, has launched its innovative event management and lifestyle platform at www.connectville.io.

By identifying and addressing a critical gap in the market—the misconception of events as a single industry rather than a vertical across all sectors—Connect Ville is poised for significant growth, with plans to raise a seed round investment in the coming months.

The platform’s capabilities were stress-tested during the recent launch initiative that successfully demonstrated the technology’s power to unify disparate industry players.

Founded by Dumidu Thabrew, Connect Ville challenges the existing high-cost, niche-focused platforms.

Its core innovation is a “pay only when you earn” model, eliminating upfront costs for organisers and democratising access to professional event management tools. This model targets a vast, underserved market segment, from corporate planners and wellness instructors to community groups, who were previously side-lined by expensive, entertainment-focused software.

“The global events software market is mature, but it’s been catering to a fraction of the total addressable market,” said Founder Dumidu Thabrew. “We are not just building another ticketing site; we are building a scalable lifestyle platform that understands events are a function of every industry. Our business model is designed for mass adoption.”

The upcoming seed round will fuel an ambitious product roadmap designed to solidify Connect Ville’s position as an end-to-end solution. Key developments include a dedicated mobile app, a marketplace for ticket resales, integrated vendor and merchandise listings, a community feed for user engagement, dedicated creator profiles, and a seating plan builder. Following a successful beta launch in Sri Lanka, the company plans an aggressive international market outreach.
