Applications open for Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 awards

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) has announced that applications are now open for the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 (SLEOTY) — the country’s most prestigious national award recognising excellence in entrepreneurship.

Celebrating its 25th landmark year, SLEOTY continues to honour outstanding Sri Lankan businesses across all sectors and regions, recognising achievements in productivity, innovation, financial strength, management excellence, technology use, employment generation, competitiveness, and sustainability.

In addition to national and international recognition, SLEOTY places special emphasis on identifying and celebrating regional entrepreneurial talents from all Provinces – Southern, North Central, North Western, Central, Western, Northern, Eastern, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva – as well as the exceptional achievements of Youth Entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, and Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.

“This is not just an award; it is a recognition of the spirit of Sri Lankan entrepreneurship. We invite all entrepreneurs, from start-ups to established industry leaders, to take advantage of this prestigious platform to showcase their excellence to the nation and the world,” said FCCISL President Keerthi Gunawardane. 

Award winners will benefit from extensive exposure through FCCISL’s influential network of 65 chambers and business associations representing over 40,000+ businesses across Sri Lanka, as well as international connections spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.By participating in SLEOTY 2025, entrepreneurs can position themselves for greater market visibility, business growth opportunities, and prestigious national and international recognition.

Applications close on 10 June and the awards ceremony will be on 17 July.
