Ambeon Holdings PLC has proposed a subdivision of its ordinary shares, with the Board recommending a 1-for-4 split to increase the number of issued shares without altering the company’s stated capital.
In a circular resolution dated 16 March 2026, the Board resolved to recommend that each existing ordinary share be subdivided into four shares.
As a result, the number of issued ordinary shares will increase from 356,869,666 to 1,427,478,664.
The company said there will be no change to its stated capital, which will remain at Rs. 5,331,775,177. The proposed subdivision is subject to the concurrence of the Colombo Stock Exchange and approval by shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting.
