Abbotsleigh Estate sets an all-time record price

Abbotsleigh Estate, situated in the Hatton region and managed by Hatton Plantations PLC, secured an all-time record price for a CTC High Grown, PF1 at Rs. 1,460 per kg under the “Florence” mark at this week’s tea auction conducted on 20 July.  This line of tea was purchased by Union Commodities Ltd., and was marketed and sold by tea broker John Keells PLC.
