ACE Apparel leads way in sustainability with ‘OEKO-TEX Organic Cotton’ certification

ACE Apparel Ltd., Koggala (a subsidiary of Aitken Spence PLC), has become the first and only company in Sri Lanka to receive the prestigious OEKO-TEX Organic Cotton certification for its products.

This significant achievement marks a major milestone in ACE Apparel’s ongoing commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.

The certification was awarded during the Hohenstein Global Sustainability Conference Sri Lanka, that was recently held. The certification was presented by OEKO-TEX certification Global Head and Head of the Certification Body at Hohenstein, Germany Ivonne Schramm.
