SL extends suspension of all types of visas

The Department of Immigration and Emigration today said that all types of visa issuance to enter Sri Lanka for all foreign nationalities will be temporarily suspended with immediate effect until 7 April.

Issuing a directive, the Department also said all types of Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETA), Entry Visas, Lansing Endorsements, Multiple Entry Visas and Residence Visas already granted to all the foreign nationals and not arrived to Sri Lanka yet will be temporarily suspended and they will not be allowed to enter the country till 7 April 23.59 hrs. (local time in Sri Lanka).

Previously, the suspension was valid till 31 March.
