Central Programme Management Unit, Rauff Hakeem discuss overview of proposed unit

Representatives of the Central Programme Management Unit (CPMU) under the purview of the Prime Minister’s Office had a discussion with SLMC Leader Minister Rauff Hakeem at his Ministry on (17) Tuesday afternoon, with an objective to provide an overview of the proposed CPMU, and gather input from the Ministry of City Planning and Water Supply on the potential priority areas for the CPMU to focus on over the next three years. The Government has set up the Central Programme Management Unit (CPMU) to monitor and accelerate the implementation of the Government’s national priorities. 

Ministry Secretary N.D. Hettiarchchi, Prime Minister’s Office Assistant Secretary K.P.P. Siriwardana, Hemant Joshi and Thean Jern Yeoh of McKinsey & Company, Inc., and Senior Officials of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board and National Community Water Supply Department, Coordinating Secretary Rahmath Munsoor also participated.
