Vernon estate continued to attract record prices for the third consecutive week and bettered its previous record price to set a new all-time record price of Rs. 540 for a BP1 grade in the Western High Grown CTC category at this week’s Tea Auctions held on the 26 October. This line of tea was purchased by Tea Trends Exports Ltd. and was marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd. Mt.
