Lallith Ramanayake appointed as Director to the Board of Watawala Plantations

Former Chairman of Colombo Broker’s Association and Deputy Chairman of Tea Association of Sri Lanka Lallith Ramanayake has been appointed to the Board of Watawala Plantations PLC, an enterprise of the Sunshine Holdings Group. Ramanayake previously held several senior positions in the John Keells Group of Companies and retired from the post of Executive Vice President

of John Keells Holdings in 2011. A holder of a Masters in Business Administration from the Post Graduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayawardanapura, Ramanayake is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers. Lallith Ramanayake joined the board of Watawala Plantations PLC with effect from 8 August 2013. “His knowledge and experience in the plantation industry will be of great value to the company,” says Sunshine Holdings Group Managing Director Vish Govindasamy.
