Hingalgoda Tea Factory, situated in Hiniduma, Galle, continues to establish all-time record prices for a Low Grown CTC PF1 grade with an invoice selling at Rs. 740 per kilogram at the weekly tea auctions of 6 November 2013. This line of tea was purchased by Stassen Exports. Hingalgoda Tea Factory is managed by Tea Small Holder Factories PLC and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.
