Global coffee exports down 3.3% in June: ICO

LONDON (Reuters): Global coffee exports fell 3.3% in June from a year earlier to total 9.69 million 60 kg bags, the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) said on Friday.

For the first nine months of the 2014/15 season, which began on 1 October last year, coffee exports were down 3.3% at 83.02 million bags. Robusta coffee exports fell 6.1% in June from a year earlier to 3.74 million bags.

Cumulative robusta exports for the season to date dropped 6.2% to 31.08 million bags. Arabica coffee exports in June were 1.5% lower than in the same month last year, at 5.95 million bags.

Cumulative arabica exports for the season to date fell 1.4% to 51.94 million bags.
