At the Colombo Tea Auctions of 20 November, Dotel Oya Estate had the proud distinction of equalling the all-time record price of Rs. 760 for a BOP Grade in the Western Medium category. This line of tea was purchased by Heritage Teas Ltd. This is also the highest price for a BOP grade from the high grown, medium grown and low grown plantation districts at this tea auction.
