Craighead breaks own all-time record

Craighead Estate situated in Uda Hentenna in the Dolosbage Agro Climatic Sub Region established an all-time record price of Rs. 1,100 per kg for a line of FBOF Grade, at the weekly tea auctions held on 27 May. This price surpassed its own previous all-time record price of Rs. 800 per kg established on 4 June 2013. Craighead mark has several all-time record prices to its credit in the western medium elevation category. This line of tea was purchased by Imperial Teas Ltd. and the sale was conducted by Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers Ltd., which is the sole broker for Craighead Mark.
