An attractive price of Rs. 840 per kg was obtained for an invoice of BOP produced by Alton Estate at this week’s Colombo Tea Auctions held on 3 March.
Alton Estate which is situated in Upcot is recognised for manufacturing good quality teas and managed by Horana Plantations PLC.
The above tea was purchased by Enura Trading Company Ltd. and the selling broker was Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd.
