Yalta Tea Factory establishes an “All-time record price” of Rs. 9,150 per kilo

Yalta Tea Factory situated in Kotapola, owned by Shiran Gunewardena, achieved an All-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 21/22 June, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 9,150 per kg for FBOPFExSp1 grade in the Low Grown category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S Akbar Brothers Ltd.
