Wathurawila Tea Factory establishes equal all-time record price

Wathurawila Tea Factory situated in Elpitiya, managed by Evergreen Group of Companies achieved an equal all-time record price of Rs. 2,850 per kg for BOPFSp grade at the weekly tea auction held on 23 and 24 August in the Low Grown category.

Evergreen Group of Companies chaired by Aruna de Silva. The tea factory is managed by Director lndika Nallapperuma, Manager Rusith Nallapperuma, and Factory Officer K.H. Chandana Kumara. 

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was purchased by M/S Inter Tea Ltd.
