Two new records for Brombil FBOPFEXSP and FBOPFSP

At the Colombo Tea Auction held on 13-15 June 2022 a line of Brombil Tea Factory FBOPFEXSP sold at an all-time record price of Rs. 8,700 per Kilo breaking the previous record of Rs. 7,800 per kg. 

Similarly, this Estate’s FBOPFSP also recorded a highest ever price of Rs. 8,550 per kg, surpassing the previous record of Rs. 8,150 per kg.

Brombil Tea Factory is one of the largest Producers of Ceylon tea,  located in Pellawatte, Kalutara and manufactures quality Orthodox and CTC black tea.

This factory belongs to Evergreen Group chaired by Aruna de Silva. Brombil Tea Factory is managed by Directors Dr. Indika Nallaperuma and Senal de Silva, Manager Tyron Rathnayake, Production Manager Aruna Edirisooriya and Factory Officer Chamil Ruchira.

Both teas were purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd. and successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
