Sunrise Tea Factory establishes equal all-time record price for FBOPFEXSP1 grade

An equal all-time record price of Rs. 7,950 per kg was recorded for a FBOPFEXSP1 grade manufactured by Sunrise Tea Factory, at this week’s e-Auctions held on 7/8 June. This is an excellent achievement for which we offer our heartiest congratulations to the team Sunrise Tea Factory.

Sunrise Tea Factory is a flagbearer known for producing good quality Ceylon teas in the low grown sector and is situated in the Matara district. The management of this factory and the team are keen on producing premium quality Ceylon teas for weekly tea auctions which bought for premium blends by the buyer community.

The above tea was purchased by M/S Union Commodities Ltd., a leading tea exporter in Sri Lanka. The selling broker of this tea was Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd.
