Sanquhar Tea Factory establishes equal all-time record price

Sanquhar Tea Factory situated in Pussellawa, of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., achieved an equal all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 19/20 July 2022 by securing an attractive price of Rs. 2,650 per kg for FBOPF1 grade in the Western Medium category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to Akbar Brothers Ltd.
