Rothschild Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Rothschild Tea Factory situated in Pussellawa, managed by Pussellawa Plantations PLC, which is a subsidiary of Damro Group of Companies, achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 26/27 July 2022 by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,800 per kg for the PF1 grade in the CTC Medium grown category.

The Rothschild Tea Factory is managed by Pussellawa Plantations Chief Operating Officer Chaminda Senarathne, Group Manager Isuru Jayaruk, Manager Indunil Yapa, and Factory Officer Balasubramaniam.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to Intex Lanka Ltd.
