Pedro Estate achieves another all-time record price

Pedro Estate under the selling mark of ‘Mahagastotte’ achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,750 for a BOP grade in the Nuwara Eliya Region at the weekly tea auctions held on 5/6 July.  The Estate is situated in the Nuwara Eliya planting district at an elevation of 1,750 m above sea level. Pedro Estate is Rainforest Alliance, HACCP, and ISO 22000:2005 certified.  Pedro Estate is managed by Kelani Valley Plantations PLC under the stewardship of Dilum Pathirana, subsidiary of Hayleys PLC.  This line of tea was sold and marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
