Lions Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Lions Tea Factory situated in Beralapananthara, owned by Shiran Gunewardena, achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 13-15 June, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 8,400 per kg for FBOPFExSp1 grade in the Low Grown category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers and was sold to M/S Akbar Brothers Ltd.
