All-time record price for Venture Estate

Venture Estate located in Bogawantalawa, established an attractive price of Rs. 3,500 per kg for a BOP1 in the Western High Grown Category at this week’s tea auction held on 8 August. This line of tea was purchased by Basilur Tea Exports Ltd.

Venture Estate is managed by Madulsima Plantations PLC and this line of tea was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

 



Mooloya Estate achieves all-time record price

Mooloya Estate, located in Hewaheta, established an all-time record price, of Rs. 1,750 per kg for a BOPF in the Uda Pussellawa elevational Category at the tea auction held on 9 August. This line of tea was purchased by Mabroc Teas.

Mooloya Estate is managed by Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., and this invoice of tea was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

 



All-time record price for Glenanore Estate

An all-time record price of Rs. 2,850 per kg for an OP1 grade in the Uva High Category was obtained by Glenanore Estate at the tea auction held on 8 August. This invoice of tea was purchased by Tea-Link Colombo and was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

Glenanore Estate, located in Haputale comes under the purview of Agarapatana Plantations Ltd.

 



Dunsinane Estate re-establishes all-time record price

Dunsinane Estate re-established an all-time record price of Rs. 2,000 per kg for a PF1 in the CTC High Grown Category at the tea auction held on 9 August, by surpassing their own record price of Rs. 1,750 per kg for the same grade, which was obtained at last week’s tea auction. This line of tea was purchased by J-Cey Tea Ltd. on behalf of Ahmad Tea.

Dunsinane Estate is located in Pundaluoya and is owned by Elpitiya Plantations PLC, under the management of Aitken Spence Plantations. This line of tea was marketed and sold by tea broker John Keells PLC.

 



All-time record price for New Peacock Tea Factory

New Peacock Tea Factory situated in Pussellawa established an all-time record price of Rs. 1,900 per kg for a PF1 grade in the CTC Medium Grown category at the tea auction held on 9 August. This invoice of tea was purchased by Uniworld Teas.

New Peacock Tea Factory is owned by Elpitiya Plantations PLC, under the management of Aitken Spence Plantations and this invoice of tea was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

 

Delta Estate sets all-time record price 

A price of Rs. 1,200 per kg for a BP1 grade in the CTC Medium Grown category was achieved by Delta Estate at the weekly tea auction held on 8 August. This line of tea was purchased by Tea Tang Ltd.

Delta Estate located in Pupuressa comes under the purview of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd. and this line of tea was sold by broker John Keells PLC.
