Halpewatte Uva Estate achieves an all- time record price

 Halpewatte Uva Estate located in Bandarawela, established an all-time record price for a BOP.SP at Rs. 2,600 per kg in the Uva Medium Category at the tea auction held on 2 August, surpassing their previous all- time record price of Rs. 2,550 per kg for the same grade at the tea auction held on 19 July. This invoice of tea was purchased by LOLC Holdings.

Halpewatte Uva Estate is managed by Halpewatte Estate Ltd., and the teas were marketed and sold by John Keells.
