Glenanore Estate establishes all-time record price

An all-time record price of Rs. 2,550 per kg for a FBOPF1 grade in the Uva High Category was obtained by Glenanore Estate at this week’s tea auction held on 5 July. This invoice of tea was purchased by Ceylon Tea Marketing Ltd., and marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

Glenanore Estate, located in Haputale is well known for producing high quality teas and this estate comes under the purview of Agarapatana Plantations Ltd.
