Eastern Brokers sets all-time record price for Craig Estate

At the recently concluded Colombo Tea Auction on 26 April, Craig Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,600 per Kg for a BOP 1 Grade in the Uva High Grown elevation category. This line of tea was purchased by M/s Ranfer Teas Ltd.

Craig Estate is situated in the  Bandarawela region in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. Agro climatically in the Poonagalla valley perched at the southern edge of the hill country at an elevation of 4,320 ft above mean sea level. Craig Estate maintains a high standard of manufacture focused on producing good quality teas under the stewardship of superintendent Gayan Bopitiya.
