Double crown for Ceciliyan Tea Factory

Ceciliyan Tea Factory achieved an all-time record price for low grown DUST1 of Rs. 2,550 and PEKOE DUST of Rs. 2,700 at Tea Auction held on 28/ 29 June.

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is located in the hills of Kalawana region in the Ratnapura

district and this factory is managed by Ceciliyan Associates Ltd.

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is well recognised for manufacturing quality teas and more often they obtain premium prices for their teas at the weekly auctions.

Ceciliyan Tea Factory passes ISO 22000 certificate and has won several awards for its quality manufacture and ethical practices.

Both the invoices were marketed by Mercantile Produce Tea Brokers Ltd. and was purchased by Basilur Tea Exports Ltd. and Vintage Teas Ceylon Ltd.
