Demodera Estate establishes all-time record price

Demodera Estate achieved an All-time record price of Rs. 2,400 per kg for a BOP grade in the Uva Medium Region at the weekly tea auctions held on 5/6 July.

This Estate is reputed for manufacturing high quality teas and has obtained Rainforest Alliance certification ensuring that all quality standards are met in their production process. 

Demodera Estate is managed by Hapugastenne Plantations PLC, an associate of Browns Power Holdings Ltd., under the stewardship of Group Manager Nelantha Silva. 

This line of tea was sold and marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
