Demodara Estate sets an all- time record price

An attractive price of Rs. 3,600 per kg for a BOP1 grade under the Uva Medium Category, was achieved by Demodara Estate at this week’s tea auction held on 2 August. Demodara Estate is located in Badulla and is managed by Hapugastenne Plantations.

This invoice of tea was purchased by Basilur Tea Exports Ltd. and was marketed and sold by John Keells
