Avissawella Tea Factory fetches all-time record price for Low Grown BOPF Grade

At the Colombo Tea Auction held on 28 and 29 March Avissawella Tea Factory which sells tea under the ‘Sithaka’ selling mark realised an all-time record price of Rs. 1,850 for an Invoice of BOPF.

The teas were purchased by Jafferjjee Brothers and sold through the catalog of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd.

This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is situated in the Seethawaka Industrial Zone and is owned by Lalith Liyanage of RTS Holdings.
