Alma Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Alma Tea Factory, situated in Kandapola and managed by Footprints Holdings Ltd., achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 23/24 August by securing an attractive price of Rs. 2,200 per kg for BOPSp grade in the Uda Pussellawa elevation.   

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S. Akbar Brothers Ltd.
