All-time record price for Ceciliyan Tea Factory

Ceciliyan Tea Factory, located in Kalawana Ratnapura, known for producing quality teas established an all-time record price of Rs. 3,250 per kg for a line of Low Grown BOP, at the tea auction held on 31 August.

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is managed by Ceciliyan Associates Ltd. and this line of tea was purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd. and was marketed and sold by broker John Keells PLC.
