Alhewana Super Tea Factory establishes all-time record price for FBOPFSP grade

All-time record price of Rs.7,600 per kg was recorded for a FBOPFSP grade manufactured by Alhewana Super Tea Factory, at this week’s E-Auctions held on 31 May/01 June 2022. 

Alhewana Super Tea Factory is a flag bearer, known for producing  good quality teas in the low grown sector and is situated in the Kalutara District. The factory Proprietor Nilanga Dela and the team is keen on producing premium quality teas for weekly tea auctions which bought for premium blends by the buyer community.

The above tea was purchased by M/S Ceylon Fresh Tea Ltd., a leading tea exporter in Sri Lanka. The selling broker of this tea was Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd.
