in Sri Lanka’s water pump industry
Agromax, Sri Lanka’s leading water pump manufacturer and pioneer in delivering innovative water management solutions, celebrated its Annual Sales Conference 2025 at the Citrus Hotel Waskaduwa. The event brought together the company’s Board of Directors, management staff, sales team, production and factory staff, back-office staff, and logistics team to recognise and reward the exceptional achievements that have contributed to Agromax’s position as the No. 1 water pump company in Sri Lanka.
With more than 1,500 dealers throughout the island, a wide variety of products, and a strong staff of over 150 workers, Agromax is still dedicated to providing cutting-edge technology and trusted quality to households, agriculture, industrial, construction, and other various business sectors across the country.
In addition to presenting appreciation awards to the Sales Manager, Finance Manager, and Factory Manager for their steadfast commitment and leadership, the conference recognised key contributors and star performers with special awards such as Best Junior Employee Performer, Most Valuable Office Executive, and Star Salesperson.
The Chief Guest was the Additional Secretary M.B.L. Rahuman of the Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation Ministry. Keynote addresses were delivered by Managing Director/CEO Sadath Mohomed, Chairman Mohomed Riyal Rihimy, Finance Manager Yohan Wijesinghe, and National Sales Manager Sameera Bandara. They emphasised Agromax’s development from a micro-business to a medium-to-large enterprise with its own assembly plant and factory in Biyagama. The company’s value-driven culture, employee development, and its significant economic contribution to Sri Lanka through job creation and technological innovation were all highlighted by the speakers.
Sadath Mohomed shared his thoughts, stating, “Our success at Agromax is based on our capacity to combine locally engineered solutions with top-notch technology to satisfy the unique needs of Sri Lankan customers.
