Year 5 top achievers in Mannar and Vavuniya recognised by AVIVA NDB

AVIVA NDB Insurance was in Mannar and Vavuniya to recognise the districts’ top achievers in the Year 5 examination recently.

Senior Regional Manager T. Sivakumaran presented the certificates and cash gifts to two students who each scored 190 marks to become No. 1 in his district. The company presents scholarship certificates to all the students who top the batch in each of the 25 districts in Sri Lanka.  They start receiving the scholarship when they are successful at GCE O/L and enter A/L.

Jude Mithusen of St. Xavier’s Boys College, Mannar, received the certificate in the presence of the School Principal Rev. Brother Santiago. Yogeswaran Piriyanesan of Vipulanantha College in Vavuniya received his certificate in the presence of his Principal M. Jeyatharan.

Jude’s class teacher P. Kamalachandran and Yogeswaran’s class teacher Premakumar Philomena were recognised on behalf of all the teachers who have taught the students from Grade 1 to 5 and helped them to blossom. The College Principals received certificates of recognition from AVIVA NDB Insurance for their commitment and dedication.
