Charlie Schwartz Assistant Director of International Admissions University of Cincinnati seemingly holds an audience of senior students of the British School Colombo spellbound when presenting them dramatically with higher education opportunities in the US recently. University of Cincinnati (www.uc.edu) a nationally and globally ranking public university in Ohio was introduced to Sri Lanka in ‘07 by Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd (www.scholarshipsforusa.com) in its mission of attracting the top US universities to Sri Lanka so that increasing numbers of Lankan students may have access to affordable higher education in US. Since ‘07 UC has accommodated many deserving Lankans both as undergrads and graduate students. SUSA is the only Lankan recruiter that works exclusively with US universities where each one of their candidates is guaranteed scholarships. The British School in Colombo (www.britishschool.lk) is a top most international school preparing local and expatriate children. Many of its alumni are accepted to the world’s best known universities each year and since recently, working closely with SUSA, BSC has shown much interest in making its charges aware of the quality, affordability and vast choices in areas of study and choices of universities in the US.
