SLITAD ‘An Evening for Trainers’ program a boost to trainers

Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development recently held its second program in the series ‘An Evening for Trainers’ at SLITAD Auditorium. Dr. Prabath Karunanayake a well-known HR presenter delivered the talk under the caption ‘Overcoming fear anxiety and stress as a public speaker’. It was well received by the audience and they thanked the SLITAD for organising a lecture of this caliber. SLITAD Management whilst responding to the request of the audience said that the SLITAD committed to the upliftment of the HRD profession of the country and adding value every possible way to achieve its goal will have the next lecture in August. Sri Lanka Institute of Training And Development (SLITAD), premier professional platform for trainers in the country was founded in 1998 by a group of HRD Professionals led by late Achilles Joseph, former DIG and Director Higher Training Institute of the Sri Lanka Police. Since 1998, SLITAD has been actively involving in carrying out its mission and now is evolved to a well-established organisation dedicated to uplift the professional standards of Human Resources Development with more than 200 members in Fellow, Member, Associate, Affiliate, Students and Institutional categories. SLITAD has made a significant contribution towards the HRD profession of the country by producing more than 200 full-fledged Trainers by its Diploma course in Training and Development.
