The Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), the nation’s only institute in higher education accredited by IET, commenced its enrolment of students for the MSc degree program.

With over 7,000 students currently enrolled at SLIIT, the institute offers a vast array of degree programs for both undergraduate and post graduate students.
Offering students the opportunity to enrol in knowledge-based programs such as MSc in Information Technology, MSc in Information Management, MSc in Information Systems, MSc in IT (Specialising in Cyber Security) and MSc in Enterprise Applications Development (Sheffield Hallam University, UK), SLIIT continues to pave the way for tomorrow’s leaders in the field of Information Technology.
The acclaimed institute aims via its MSc program to produce graduates who are competent in a variety of aspects of Information Technology, with the ability to apply their expertise in industrial and commercial environments. These programs are designed to cultivate and nurture the abilities to critically analyse, design and evaluate strategies in Information Technology, through the provision of lectures, continuous assessments, seminars, lab work and a final examination. Upon successful completion of the first year in the MSc degree program, a student is granted the Postgraduate Diploma.
Interested students are urged to send in their application forms by 12 May. The selection for specific programs will include an aptitude test, followed by an interview on 27 May. The program is scheduled to begin on 2 July.

Students have the option of following classes on weekends, which will be conducted at the SLIIT Metro campus in Colombo, proving to be of access-convenience for students.
