Moir Alumni Scholarship Trust announces new offerings

The Moir Alumni Scholarship Trust (MAST) was set up by Elizabeth Moir School Alumni to increase the access of top-tier secondary education for Sri Lankans of less financial privilege. Their goal is to support needy but dedicated and highly talented students attend sixth form at Elizabeth Moir School, and open doors that would otherwise not be available to them.
The Alumni Scholarship covers 100% of the 6th Form (AS-Level & A-Level) tuition fee at Elizabeth Moir School, covering book costs and payments associated with extra-curricular activities and school uniforms.
Student Eligibility:
1. Finance: The Alumni Scholarship is available to only students who demonstrate financial need. We encourage students whose families earn $ 500 or Rs. 75,000 a month to apply.
2. Citizenship: The Alumni Scholarship is available to only students who hold a Sri Lankan (and dual Sri Lankan) Citizenship.
3. Education and Conduct: The Alumni Scholarship is available to only students who have attended a local or public school, immediately prior to the submission of this application. Students who apply for the Alumni Scholarship should have completed local or foreign Ordinary Levels (O-Levels) and should have maintained a record of good behaviour throughout their educational period.
