Mercury Institute of Management, the affirmed experts in the domains of accounting, finance and management, is now providing students with another unique opportunity to stack up on world-class qualifications. Having been in the market since 2001, Mercury ensures that only the finest lecturers who are qualified, experienced professionals guide students throughout their journey at Mercury. Their facilities include state-of-the-art lecture rooms, all air-conditioned and equipped with multimedia facilities and a modern computer lab, and their policy of size-controlled classrooms ensures that every student gets individual attention and support where necessary. The latest addition to Mercury’s portfolio of qualifications is the BSc. (Hons) degrees offered by the University of London, a university which is ranked fourth in the UK University League Tables. The degrees being offered are the BSc. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, BSc. (Hons) in Economics and Management and the BSc. (Hons) in Business. With Mercury, students are now able to obtain a globally recognised UK degree delivered by a globally acclaimed lecture panel which is a combination that cannot be found elsewhere. Mercury has achieved high pass rates in all University of London exam sessions and has an impressive track record of producing several World and Sri Lankan prizewinners. The other factor that makes Mercury the place to be to follow an Accounting, Finance or Management-related degree from the University of London is that if students who register for ACCA or CIMA wish to pursue a University of London Degree concurrently, they may do so, because Mercury will completely waive off the tuition fees for the entire three year degree program, which amounts to a huge saving. In today’s competitive corporate environment, having one qualification is more often than not insufficient to secure a high-profile job.  Employers often look for individuals possessing both an academic qualification and a professional qualification. Students registering with Mercury’s Job Bank will have the additional benefit of guaranteed placements at some of Sri Lanka’s top conglomerates.
