Mahela Jayawardena joins Future Minds 2012 as Brand Ambassador

Prodigious cricketer, Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Mahela Jayawardena, probably one of the best cricketing brains to be produced by Sri Lanka joined the higher educational expo Future Minds 2012 as its brand ambassador.

Starting his career with flying colours as a youngster full of skill and style, Mahela made the best of every opportunity that came his way in developing a flamboyant career. Mahela has the disctinction of becoming captain of the Sri Lanka Cricket Team twice, being the first and only Sri Lankan to score 10,000 test runs, the highest ever test score by a Sri Lankan of 374 against South Aftrica and much more.

With such achievements, Mahela has shown how one could realise a dream with passion. Whilst any cricketer goes through a bad patch once in a while, Mahela demonstrated how to make the right choices, with the right help to steer his career to the summit.

Future Minds 2012 is organised by the Future Minds Secretariat and will be held at the BMICH from 22 to 24 June, from 30 June to 1 July at the Kandy City Centre and from 1 to 2 September at the Galle Town Hall.
