On February 8 members of the MBA group of University of Kelaniya gathered at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) to mark the completion of their degrees at the 59th convocation of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
The convocation was presided over by the Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, most ven. Valamitiyawe Kusaladhamma thero.
The MBA has been now labelled as a ‘preferred’ qualification or as a requirement in a work resume. Therefore the foremost goal of Kelaniya MBA is to develop new skills and knowledge, to enable students to make a transition to a higher level of responsibility.
MBA Kelaniya Coordinator Dr. A Jayamaha stated that a unique educational system with the help of virtual learning environment in MBA Kelaniya program will ensure that students gain not just depth and breadth in management course units, but a holistic set of skills that will equip students to face the real world.
