K-AIMS students win high accolades

K-AIMS incorporated in 2009 as an ACCA tuition provider, reflected its well-earned reputation for providing a strong foundation to ACCA students, when three of them won the Sri Lankan prizes for the ACCA examinations recently. They are Thushanthiga Kumarasooriyar who won the F6 – Business Taxation award in 2010, Kiritharan Kananathan who won the F6 – Business Taxation award and Devruwan Fernando F9 Financial Management award in June 2011.

Founder of K-AIMS Kumanan Vettivel of K-AIMS praised the prize winners for their exemplary performance and for “upholding the quality of education imparted at K-AIMS.” He stated, “We are extremely proud of these students who have worked hard and successfully to complete their studies, with the support of our dedicated staff. We wish them every success in their future careers and believe that the academic skills and global insights provided through their studies at K-AIMS will be an influential foundation for their continued success.”



He also affirmed, “We absolutely focus only on ACCA and strongly believe that passing the exam is a life deciding factor for the students. We have managed to produce three Sri Lankan prize winners within the first two years of existence. At K-AIMS we are geared to respond with innovation and speed to changing needs and expectations around teaching and learning and develop new ways of ensuring that academic content is delivered in a way appropriate to a changing global market.”

The Institute is located along Marine drive in Bambalapitiya, with ample parking facilities and air conditioned class rooms.  K-AIMS insist on smaller classes which are conducted during the week-ends at convenient times and prioritise on giving personal attention for their students.

Providing the right learning environment and required resources geared to maintain a diverse student population, K-AIMS currently comprises of a carefully selected  panel of well qualified lecturers with the required skills, dedication, patience, experience and a passion to teach.

Vettivel completed his ACCA and BSc (Hons) in Applied Accountancy at the Oxford Brooks University and today counts over six years of experience in lecturing for ACCA and specialises in accounting, financial management and taxation related subjects.
