Job/Career Fair in Polonnaruwa

National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and the Vocational Training Institutions is conducting a Job/Career Fair on Wednesday 4 November from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at ‘Pulathisi Budhi Mandapaya’ Hall in Polonnaruwa.

The event would be an opportunity for employers to find employees to fill their job vacancies and school leavers/job seekers to find suitable employment. Skilled labour is available in the following areas – automobile, painting, plumbing, air-conditioning, agriculture, information technology, welding, electrical, tailoring carpenters, computer hardware. Before the commencement of interviews by prospective employers, an awareness seminar will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. at the venue for the job seekers. School leavers and graduates are eligible to participate.

The interviews will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for employers to interview the job seekers and confirm their applications on the spot. School leavers/job seekers interested to participate at the job fair may contact National Human Resources Development Council, Co, TP 2595680/79.
