In a landmark event held at Saegis Capus in Nugegoda, Inspiro Business School launched its logo, website and introduced its experienced lecture panel to the distinguished gathering present there recently.
CA Sri Lanka President Arjuna Herath unveiled the logo of the Inspiro Business School in the presence of Chairman Bandara Dissanayake and other distinguished gathering. All guests who were present there were taken for an inspection of the class rooms and other facilities available at the Business School.
Dissanayake in his opening remarks said: “I have been teaching G.C.E Advanced level students for over 20 years. I know that all students who get through the Advanced Level examination do not get an opportunity to get into State universities. As a result many clever students who did not get an opportunity to get into State universities have been looking for opportunities to pursue their higher studies. Having identified this need I first started SIBT institution to provide special job-oriented computer diplomas to the students. Thereafter in 2012 I started Saegis Campus to provide opportunities to students to obtain a world recognised degree at an affordable price. I have been receiving many requests from parents and students to start classes for Chartered accountancy qualification. However, I did not start classes because I did not have good lecture panel to start classes. However we are very lucky that this year I could find excellent lecture panel, the members of which have many years of lecturing experience and hold very responsible positions in business organisations. Further we have this new building with all modern facilities to conduct classes for Chartered accountancy qualification. With all these favourable conditions I took a decision to start classes for Chartered accountancy qualification from September at Saegis Campus. We are planning to offer new experiences to the students expecting to follow CA classes with modern facilities and very capable lecture panel.”
Herath said: “I am very happy to be associated with this event today and would like to welcome Inspiro Business School as a registered teaching college of CA Sri Lanka. I am very happy to see the modern facilities available at the Inspiro Business School and these facilities are up to the international standards.”
He added: “We at CA Sri Lanka introduced a new curriculum which will be effective from 2015. This curriculum was developed taking in to consideration the need of the business community. With the new curriculum we have improved our examination process as well. Therefore we expect that pass rates of our exams will improve significantly and our future Chartered accountants will have a great future in local and global context. I wish all the best for the Inspiro Business School.”
Herath also officially launched the website of the Inspiro Business School at the event.
Guest of Honour Prof. M.W. Wickramarachchi speaking at the event said he strongly believed that the lecture panel of Inspiro Business School has the skills and competence required to deliver the new syllabus of CA Sri Lanka in the right context and wish all the best for the business school. Heshan Kuruppu representing the lecture panel introduced the panel to the distinguished gathering.
